INTERNATIONAL CONTEST FOR CLARINETTISTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD<\/p>\n
The International Music Performing Competition “Giacomo Mensi” began in 1998, aimed at promoting musical culture, above all for clarinet, in memory of the young clarinettist Giacomo Mensi, known on international level in spite of his young age and departed before his time in a tragic road accident in 1997.<\/p>\n
The contest (that is biennial) consists of two sections: Excellence and Young Promises. The Young Promises Section, that is further separated in two sub-sections: A (up to 13 years) and B (up to 18 years), is meant to stimulate the younger clarinettists, sustaining them and giving them the possibility to perform in an event of international level.<\/p>\n
The contest consists of a preliminary heat phase followed by a final. A curtain will hide the Jury during the performances; moreover, as security for an unbiased judgment, the order of the performances is drawn lots immediately before the beginning of the trials.<\/p>\n
All the candidates are given a Participation Certificate; the first, the second and the third classed are given a Diploma and a prize. Besides receiving the Diploma and the prize, the winner performs with the Orchestra \u00e2\u20ac\u0153A. Vivaldi\u00e2\u20ac\u009d in the final concert at the end of the event.<\/p>\n
The Contest is advertised in the Italian Conservatories and in the foreign Academies, Conservatories and Universities, besides in the most interesting musical magazines.<\/p>\n
The high level of the Content is also documented by the Foremen of Jury: Dieter Klocker for the 1st edition, Karl Leister for the 2nd edition, Antony Pay for the 3rd edition, Thomas Friedli for the 4th edition, Wenzel Fuchs for the 5th edition and Fabio Di Casola for the 6th edition.<\/p>\n
The Contest is promoted by the Municipality of Breno according with the Association \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Musica in Valle Camonica\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, with the patronage of the Region of Lombardy, the Province of Brescia, the Comunit\u00c3\u00a0 Montana of Valle Camonica, the Consorzio BIM of Valle Camonica, the “C. Golgi” high school, the Pro Loco of Breno and Federcultura; the artistic direction is entrusted to the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Libera Accademia di Musica A. Vivaldi\u00e2\u20ac\u009d of Darfo Boario Terme (BS).CONCORSO INTERNAZIONALE DEDICATO AI CLARINETTISTI DI TUTTO IL MONDO.<\/p>\n
Il Concorso Internazionale di Musica “Giacomo Mensi” nasce nel 1998, con l’obiettivo di promuovere ed incentivare la cultura musicale, soprattutto del clarinetto, ricordando nel contempo un giovane clarinettista gi\u00c3\u00a0 affermato in campo internazionale e prematuramente scomparso in un tragico incidente stradale nel 1997.<\/p>\n
Il Concorso, a cadenza biennale, si articola in due categorie: Eccellenza e Giovani Promesse;
\nLa sezione dedicata alle Giovani Promesse, a sua volta suddivisa in cat A (fino a 13 anni) e cat B (fino a 18 anni), intende incentivare e valorizzare i clarinettisti pi\u00c3\u00b9 giovani, sostenendoli e fornendo loro la possibilit\u00c3\u00a0 di esibirsi in una manifestazione di carattere internazionale.<\/p>\n
Il Concorso consiste in una fase eliminatoria seguita dalla finale; la giuria, durante la selezione dei candidati, \u00c3\u00a8 nascosta da un tendone; a garanzia di imparzialit\u00c3\u00a0, inoltre, l\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ordine di ingresso dei concorrenti viene estratto a sorte immediatamente prima dell\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ingresso alla prova.<\/p>\n
I Concorrenti ricevono un Attestato di Partecipazione; i primi tre classificati di ogni categoria ricevono il Diploma ed una borsa di studio; Il vincitore del Concorso,il vincitore del concorso, inoltre, si esibisce accompagnato dall’Orchestra da Camera di Valle Camonica, nel Concerto finale di premiazione che si tiene a conclusione della Manifestazione.<\/p>\n
Il Concorso viene pubblicizzato nei Conservatori Italiani e nelle Accademie, nei Conservatori ed Universit\u00c3\u00a0 Estere.<\/p>\n
L\u00e2\u20ac\u2122altissimo livello della manifestazione, giunta alla decima edizione, \u00c3\u00a8 testimoniato anche dai Presidenti di Giuria: Dieter Kl\u00c3\u00b6cker, Karl Leister, Antony Pay , Thomas Friedli, Wenzel Fuchs, Fabio Di Casola, Bobby Yotzov.<\/p>\n
